Data module
The data personalization is the core module among the Inspire personalization modules. This is the first step in processing data from a raw source into the format needed for further analyses.
We assume in this module that the client has initialized the Customer Data Platform and Product Feed of CM.com and therefore we load in the raw data from these standard sources.
If a client for whatever reason does not want or need the CDP, a custom data module needs to be created by the Inspire team.
How to set up the data module?
The customer data platform configuration properties that are needed for the data module:
The CDP Tenant ID can be found in the CDP platform. Go to Settings > Under the heading “API tokens” you can find your tenant ID.
The CDP Profile Type ID can be found in the CDP platform. Go to CDP > Unfold the Internal Sources heading in the left sidebar > Go to the Raw Sources tab > Raw Input > You can find the Profile type ID here.
The product feed configuration properties that are needed for the data module:
The Product Feed Tenant ID can be found in the product feed platform. Go to Settings > Under the heading “API tokens” you can find your tenant ID.
The Product Feed Catalog ID can be found in the product feed platform. Go to Settings > Under the heading “Product Catalog Details” you can find your catalog ID.
The Product Feed Read Token can be generated in the product feed platform. Go to Settings > Click on Create token and make sure it has the “External Reader” role.
Other (expert) properties will be set up by the team.
