Do I always have to send a valid CLI with a call?

Resolution

Yes, a valid CLI in E.164 international format is always required when setting up a SIP call through the CM platform. By law it is prohibited to use a false CLI (so called CLI Spoofing), or a CLI that you do not own.

Even when sending calls anonymously, the SIP INVITE still needs to contain a valid CLI in FROM, TO and CONTACT headers.

!!Calls with an invalid CLI not adhering to required format are subject to surcharges!!
