Feature Explained: Page Push

This support article explains the concept of a page push, provides an example of its use, and outlines the steps to implement it in Conversational AI Cloud.

What is a Page Push?

A page push is a feature that allows users to be seamlessly directed to a related page without requiring any action on their part. Unlike a traditional hyperlink, where users must click to navigate, a page push automatically redirects users after they receive an answer from the chatbot. This creates a smoother and more proactive user experience.

Example of a Page Push

To better understand how a page push works, let’s look at an example from CM.com’s web conversations:

  1. A user asks a question in the chatbot interface.

  2. The chatbot provides an answer.

  3. Immediately after the answer is delivered, the user is automatically redirected to a related page.

This automatic redirection is achieved through the page push feature.

Key Features of Page Push

  • Drag-and-Drop Functionality: Page push is a built-in feature in Conversational AI Cloud, making it easy to implement using a drag-and-drop interface.

  • Out-of-the-Box Support: It is natively supported via CM.com’s interface.

  • Third-Party Front-End Compatibility: If you are using a custom or third-party front-end, ensure that the page push feature is supported by consulting the relevant documentation or support team.
