How Do I Configure My Audio Devices?
Introduction
In order to operate the Native Voice channel, audio output and input devices need to be configured. To easily manage your your audio devices and test your configuration, an audio settings panel is available.
Navigating to Audio settings
- You can navigate to the audio settings by clicking on the "Audio settings" option within the three dotted menu in the bottom left corner of the dashboard.

- Once you have opened the audio settings, you are presented with the modal in which you can configure you audio devices.
Ringtone and notification Speaker/headset
The ringtone and notification speaker/headset allows you to select to which of the available audio devices you want to output the ringtone and notification sound. By default this will select the default audio device provided by the host device.
Testing ringtone and notification sound
To test the audio device, you can select the test button to play a test sound. If you hear the notification whistle sound through the selected device, that means you are correctly setup.
Voice Speaker/headset
The Voice speaker/headset allows you to select to which of the available audio devices you want to output the voice call sound. By default this will select the default audio device provided by the host device.
Testing your voice sound
To test the audio device, you can select the test button to play a test sound. If you hear the notification whistle sound through the selected device, that means you are correctly setup.
Microphone
The microphone setting allows you to select to microphone you want to use to input sound for voice calls. By default this will select the default audio device provided by the host device.
Testing your microphone sound
To test the microphone, you can select the test button to play a test sound. If the test button is enabled, you will hear the microphone played back to you trough the Voice speaker/headset device. Therefore, please make sure to first correctly confiture your voice speaker/headset device.
