Differences Between Newsletters and Triggered Campaigns
Newsletter Campaigns: These are sent immediately or at a scheduled time to a group of recipients. They are ideal for one-time communications or updates to a specific audience.
Triggered Campaigns: These operate as long-running campaigns, where an email is sent to an individual recipient only when a specific trigger (an event in the Customer Data Platform) occurs.
When to Use Newsletter Campaigns?

When you want to send a campaign to a specific group at a scheduled time.
When to Use Triggered Campaigns?
Use triggered campaigns when you don’t want to send to a group of recipients all at once but instead want to send emails to specific recipients based on an event.
For example: If your company has an online environment (such as a webshop or customer portal), you may want to send an email when someone requests a password reset. In this case, the email is sent only to the individual who triggered the event.
