Prioritizing automation rules
Automation rules allow you to create automatic actions that trigger based on specific conditions in your Cash Register system. The order in which these rules are evaluated and executed is determined by their priority level.

To change the execution order of your automation rules:
Locate the rule you want to reposition in the priority list
Use the up/down arrows (↑↓) on the left side of each rule to adjust its position:
Click the up arrow to increase priority (lower the number)
Click the down arrow to decrease priority (increase the number)
The system will automatically update the priority numbers of all affected rules
Why Priority Matters
Setting the correct priority is crucial because:
Rules are evaluated in priority order (1, 2, 3, etc.)
When multiple rules could apply to the same transaction, the highest priority rule takes precedence
Some rules may modify conditions that affect whether subsequent rules will trigger
