Steps

In complying with the IT Regulator (AGCOM) request to stem the flow of inbound international calls to IT Fixed destinations with an IT National Fixed Number as CLI from a non-IT interconnect, carriers are forced to deploy network configurations to conform to Technical Committee's Resolution No. 106/25/CONS “Implementation on blocking of inbound international calls with IT Network Number as CLI”, effective 14th August 2025.

• Calls with CLI corresponding to a national landline number (such calls presumably
  cannot originate from abroad);

• Calls with CLI corresponding to a non-geographic national number, e.g., 800xxx
  numbers (such numbers cannot be used abroad);
