Writing Assistant

In the Articles editor, the writing assistant helps you craft meaningful and engaging content. This tool is available to assist you in generating outputs using your provided resources. This feature is only available when you have an active Generative AI subscription.

How to use the Writing Assistant

Before you can use the Writing Assistant, you first need to customize and train the LLM by uploading resources under 'Knowledge'.

Generate an Answer

Generating an answer will automatically use the tone of voice configured in the Knowledge settings.

Questions are required to generate an answer, so if you're creating a new article, be sure to add your questions first.

When there are no outputs on an article (or channel) you will see a 'Generate' button:

You can find the Writing Assistant in the top right corner of the answer editor:

Here, you can write your own idea to improve your output or you can select from one of the prompts to apply it to your output:

  • Simplify: Make your text easier to understand. Just paste your text and let the AI simplify it for you!

  • Extend: Need more content? Enter your text and the AI will add more details and expand on it!

  • Summarize: Get a quick summary of any text. Paste your text and the AI will condense it for you!

  1. Edit the answer, and click on the 'Writing Assistant' icon.

  2. Either write your own idea, or use one of the prompts provided

  3. Replace the answer and update.
