Edit - Design Mobile (Wallet-pas)


Overview

This screen appears when selecting Edit on a mobile wallet-pass template (or when creating a new one).

It allows you to configure:

  • The Apple Wallet and Google Wallet appearance of the ticket

  • The background colour of the wallet pass

  • The background image of the wallet pass

  • The name of the wallet-pass template

The screen is divided into two main sections:

  • Left side: Live wallet-pass preview (inside a phone frame), with an Apple Wallet / Google Wallet toggle above it

  • Right side: Configuration panel

The preview updates instantly when settings are changed.

Left Side – Wallet Pass Preview

Above the preview, a toggle lets you switch between Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, since each platform renders the pass slightly differently.

The preview includes:

  • CM.com logo

  • Event date

  • Event name

  • Ticket type (e.g. "General Admission")

  • Ticket holder name (e.g. "John Doe")

  • QR code

Important:
All visible data in the preview is example data. Real users will see their own ticket details.

Right Side – Configuration Panel

Template Name

Editable field at the top (e.g. "Test Magnus"):

  • Used to rename the wallet-pass template.

Save Button

  • Saves all modifications.

  • Changes are not applied until saved.

  • There is no separate cancel button — an "Editor sluiten" (Close editor) link at the top left closes the editor without saving.

Background Colour

This field allows you to set the background colour of the wallet pass.

  • Enter a HEX colour code (e.g. #FFD94D)

  • Applies to both the Apple Wallet and the Google Wallet pass.

Background Image

This field allows you to set a background image for the wallet pass.

  • Displays the current background image, with an option to remove it ("Afbeelding verwijderen").

  • Only used as the full background on the Apple Wallet pass — Google Wallet always shows the background colour instead of the image.

Functional Summary

Within the wallet-pass editor, you can:

  • Rename the template

  • Preview the pass live for both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

  • Set the background colour (applies to both wallets)

  • Add or remove a background image (Apple Wallet only)

  • Save the configuration

This configuration is specifically for mobile wallet-pass presentation and does not affect:

  • PDF ticket templates

  • Email design

  • Shop design
