User Enricher

The User Enricher Module enhances the personalization capabilities of the Inspire platform by enriching user data with engagement metrics. The module provides deeper insights into user behavior by introducing additional data columns for further analysis and personalized decision-making.

Note: For this module the PRO Subscription is required.

Key Requirements

Before setting up the User Enricher Module, ensure that:

  1. The Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Product Feed are initialized and configured appropriately.

  2. The Data Module is set up correctly as per the documentation provided.

How to Set Up the User Enricher Module?

1. Specify Enrichment Timing

A cron must be defined to determine the frequency and timing of user data enrichment. This can be performed using the Cronbuilder tool. The Cronbuilder facilitates cron job creation, allowing users to specify exact times and days for the enrichment process to run.

2. CDP Credentials

To set up the User Enricher Module, CDP credentials must be provided. Follow the instructions below to find these credentials:

  • CDP Tenant ID: Available in the CDP platform under Settings > API tokens.

  • CDP Event Type ID: Navigate to CDP > Internal Sources > Raw Sources. Search for the required name and ID.

  • CDP Access Token: Accessible in the CDP platform under Settings > API tokens.

Functionality of the User Enricher Module

Upon successful setup, the User Enricher Module processes and enriches the user data with the following additional columns:

  • viewEngagementLast7Days: Number of products viewed by the user in the last 7 days.

  • viewEngagementLast30Days: Number of products viewed by the user in the last 30 days.

  • buyEngagementLast7Days: Number of products bought by the user in the last 7 days.

  • buyEngagementLast30Days: Number of products bought by the user in the last 30 days.

These enriched metrics enhance the understanding of user interaction patterns and aid in delivering tailored experiences.

User Inclusion Business Rule

The User Inclusion Rule is an optional business rule that determines which users should be enriched. It allows for filtering based on predefined criteria, ensuring only relevant users are processed. This rule is considered an expert configuration and can only be set or altered by the CM.com data team.
