New - Design Mobile (Wallet-pas)

This section appears inside: Design → Wallet-pas designs → + Nieuwe wallet-pas

This screen lets the user create a new wallet-pass template for an event. Unlike the Ticket design flow, clicking "+ Nieuwe wallet-pas" opens the template editor directly — there is no separate creation modal beforehand.

What This Screen Is For

  • Allows the user to design the appearance of a mobile wallet pass (Apple Wallet and Google Wallet) for an event ticket.

  • Provides a live preview of how the pass will look on a phone before saving.

  • Lets the user configure the background colour and background image used on the pass.

Settings configured here apply to the wallet-pass template only and do not affect the PDF ticket design or the shop/email designs.

What You See in This Screen

  1. Wallet-pas Name Field & Opslaan (Save) Button

Purpose: Editable field at the top (e.g. "Test Magnus") to name the wallet-pass template. The Opslaan button next to it saves all changes made in the editor. There is no separate cancel action — an "Editor sluiten" link at the top left closes the editor.

  2. Wallet Type Toggle (Apple Wallet / Google Wallet)

Purpose: Switches the live preview between the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet versions of the pass, since each platform renders the pass slightly differently.

  3. Live Preview

Purpose: Shows a real-time mockup of the wallet pass on a phone screen, including:

    • CM.com logo

    • Event date

    • Event name

    • Ticket type (e.g. "General Admission")

    • Ticket holder name (e.g. "John Doe")

    • QR code

    • Barcode number

Updates instantly as settings are changed.

  4. Background Colour

Field: Hex colour input (e.g. #FFD94D)

Purpose: Sets the base background colour of the wallet pass. Applies to both the Apple Wallet and the Google Wallet pass.

  5. Background Image

Field: Image upload, with an option to remove the current image.

Purpose: Sets a custom background image for the pass. It is only used as the full background on the Apple Wallet pass — Google Wallet always displays the background colour instead of the image.

What Happens After Saving

Once saved, the wallet-pass template appears as a new card in the Wallet-pas designs overview (Design → Wallet-pas designs), alongside existing templates. It can then be selected and assigned to a specific event, the same way other design templates are managed.

What This Section Controls

Does control:

  • Wallet-pass template name

  • Visual appearance of the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet pass

  • Background colour of the pass

  • Background image of the pass (Apple Wallet only)

Does NOT control:

  • Ticket pricing or capacity

  • Order/checkout flow

  • PDF ticket design (handled in Ticket designs)

Functional Summary

  • Create a new wallet-pass template directly in the editor (no separate creation modal)

  • Name the template and preview it live for both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

  • Set a background colour and/or background image
