Dashboard → [Event] → Sharing center

The Sharing Center is a tab on the event dashboard that allows users to share links to dashboard statistics with others.

It is used to give partners, team members, or stakeholders a view of event performance data — without giving them full access to the platform.

Overview

When the user selects or creates an event, they are taken to the event dashboard. At the top of the dashboard, the following tabs are available:

  • Ticket sales

  • Finance

  • Realtime sales

  • Sharing center

This article describes the Sharing Center tab.

What the Sharing Center Is Used For

The Sharing Center allows event organizers to create and share links to dashboard statistics. These links give the recipient a view of specific performance data for the event.

This is commonly used to:

  • Share event statistics with partners or stakeholders

  • Give team members insight into sales performance without full platform access

  • Distribute read-only views of dashboard data

How to Access the Sharing Center

  1. Open the ticketing platform.

  2. Select or create an event.

  3. You will arrive at the event dashboard.

  4. At the top of the dashboard, click Sharing center.

This Is Not the Same as

  • QR codes for the ticket shop — the Sharing Center does not generate QR codes. NxtGn does not have a built-in QR code generator. To create a QR code that links to your ticket shop, copy the shop URL from Ticketing → Shops and use an external QR code tool.

  • Ticket shop links for marketing — the shop URL is found in Ticketing → Shops, not in the Sharing Center.

  • Affiliate or partner ticket distribution — the Sharing Center is not used to set up external ticket sales channels.

What This Section Controls

The Sharing Center allows the user to:

  • Create shareable links to dashboard statistics

  • Share event performance data with external parties

  • Manage access to shared dashboard views

It does NOT control:

  • QR code generation

  • Ticket shop URLs or shop links

  • Ticket sales or distribution through external channels

Functional Summary

Within the event dashboard, the Sharing Center tab allows users to share links to dashboard statistics with partners and team members. It is strictly a statistics-sharing tool and does not provide ticket shop links or QR code functionality.
