Organisation Information - Accessibility statement

In the Organisation information section of your event settings, you'll find three fields:

Legal notice — A text field where you can enter additional legal information that will be displayed in your ticketshop. This could include extra terms, disclaimers, or other legal texts specific to your event. The field includes a rich text editor and supports translations.

Accessibility statement URL — Here you enter the link to your accessibility statement. This is a page that describes how accessible your website and ticketshop are for people with disabilities, such as screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and color contrast. The link will appear in the footer of your ticketshop, similar to Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. This is particularly important for German customers, as the BFSG (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz) requires businesses with consumer-facing digital services — including ticketshops — to publish such a statement since June 2025, with fines up to €100,000 for non-compliance.

Organisation website URL — Here you simply enter the link to your organisation's main website, so customers in the ticketshop can navigate to your homepage.

What should an accessibility statement contain?

The statement is the responsibility of the event organiser and should cover: your commitment to accessibility, which standard you follow (typically WCAG 2.1 Level AA), what accessibility features your website and ticketshop support, any known limitations (e.g. interactive seat maps not fully working with screen readers), contact information for users who encounter accessibility issues, and a reference to the relevant enforcement authority. Tools like the W3C Accessibility Statement Generator can help you create one. Once published on a URL, simply paste it into the Accessibility statement URL field.

BELOW IS A TEMPLATE OF THE ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT WHAT IT COULD BE FOR THE ORGANISER.
This is between the organiser and the website, CM. com is not resposible for that.

Accessibility Statement

We are committed to ensuring that the ticket shop is accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities. This statement describes the measures taken to ensure accessibility, outlines the degree of conformity with applicable standards, and explains how we meet the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA). It also provides information on how to submit accessibility-related feedback.

General Information

Our shop enables users to purchase tickets for our events, services, and related products. The platform has been designed to be accessible and usable by a broad range of users, including individuals with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments. We aim to provide an inclusive digital environment through clear structure, compatibility withassistive technologies, and adherence to recognized accessibility standards.

Continuous Improvement and Monitoring

We aim for the ticket shop to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, as referenced by the EAA. A combination of internal testing and external review has been conducted to assess conformity. We regularly review and update our services to ensure accessibility is maintained and continuously improved.

Implemented Accessibility Features

To support accessible use of the ticket shop, the following measures are in place:

  • Keyboard accessibility: All primary navigation and interactive components can be operated using a keyboard.

  • Assistive technology compatibility: Pages use semantic HTML, appropriate ARIA attributes, and consistent heading structures to support screen readers and related tools.

  • Sufficient color contrast: We strive to make text and interface elements meet recommended contrast ratios to support users with low vision or color-vision deficiencies.

  • Scalable content: Text resizing through browser or device settings does not compromise functionality or readability.

  • Meaningful sequence: Page layouts, menus, and user flows follow a consistent and logical order.

  • Accessible error handling: Form fields include clear labels, instructions, and programmatically identifiable error messages.

Measures to Support Compliance with the EAA

We have implemented the following measures to ensure the ticket shop meets the requirements of the EAA:

  • Integration of accessibility requirements into design and development processes.

  • Regular accessibility reviews, including automated testing and manual assessments.

  • Training for staff involved in the development and maintenance of the ticket shop.
