How Do I Use Agent Invoke?

With Agent Invoke, an Agent Inbox user can directly initiate specific AI agents from within a conversation. Agents can be triggered to execute tasks, request information, or kick off a specific agentic workflow.

How Do I Invoke an Agent?

Just like you would normally interact with the AI assistant, you need to select the AI assistant's internal collaboration mode. Once in this mode, you will now see that you can type / to invoke agents and tools.

When you use the / command, a list of available agents will appear. You can select one of these agents to invoke them and start your interaction.

Once invoked, the agent will immediately start responding, allowing you to interact directly with the specific agent without needing to ask or wait for the root agent to connect you to the right one.

How Do I (Not) Make My Agents Available for Invoke?

To make your agents available in the invoke list, you need to enable them. In some cases, you might not want all your agents to appear in this list.

You can manage agent availability in the Agent Inbox by toggling the “Available in MSC” switch within the ‘Settings’ of the agent in HALO Studio.
