Resolution

We distinguish between below statuses in SMS delivery:

  • Delivered: The operator confirmed the message has been delivered to the mobile device.

  • Accepted: The message was received by the operator, but not yet confirmed that it has been delivered.

  • Sent: CM has queued the message for delivery to the operator, but it has not been confirmed that the operator has received it.

  • Cancelled: CM did not accept the request, and will not send the message to the operator.

  • Rejected: The operator has refused to deliver the message because of a problem with the message or recipient.
Examples are: insufficient credit, suspected phishing or local compliancy regulations forbid sending.

  • Failed: The operator tried but could not deliver the message. Possible reasons include: unreachable device, no roaming agreements, phone is turned off.
