User with the Same Email Address Already Exists

Issue

When trying to add a new user account, the error message:
{"Message":"- A user with the same e-mail address already exists.\r\n"}
Even when the e-mail address is not currently in use by any of the accounts.

During the deletion of the account, a task hasn't been executed correctly, causing the above error. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

Resolution

  • Go to command.robinhq.com

  • Select the correct environment

  • Go to 'Subscription Management' > 'User Management'

  • Press CTRL + F

  • Search for the e-mail address used to add the account

  • Set the deleted account to 'regular'/'collaboration'

  • The user account is now available through the settings.
