Resolution
If a user has been restricted from a column, that column can't be added when creating a new view.
If the user used to have access to a column and has a view with this column added, but is restricted from viewing the content of a column later, the following will happen:

The content in this column will be blurred

The user is not able to filter on this column

This column is still visible in the table, but once removed via the edit modal, the user is not able to add the column again unless his/her access rights on this column will be updated.]
