Design – Personalisation flow (Email Template)

Design → Email templates → Edit → Personalisation

This section controls the email sent to buyers after a successful order when ticket personalisation is mandatory.

This email is triggered when personalisation is required for a ticket type. Buyers receive it after checkout with instructions to complete personalisation before their tickets are delivered.

Overview

Within the Personalisation tab, the user can configure:

  • Sender name shown in the recipient's inbox

  • Subject line of the personalisation email

  • Main instruction message for the buyer

  • Call-to-action button text linking to the personalisation page

Branding (colours, images, layout) is inherited from Template settings.

Sender Name

Defines the "From" name displayed in the recipient's inbox.

  • Should match your brand or event identity

  • Improves recognition and trust with the buyer

Subject

Defines the subject line shown in the inbox. Supports dynamic variables:

  • Order ID

  • Event Name

Dynamic tags populate automatically per order. The subject should clearly indicate that action is required from the buyer.

Message Text

Defines the main body of the personalisation email. Typically includes:

  • Greeting with the buyer's first name

  • Confirmation that the order was completed successfully

  • Explanation that ticket personalisation is mandatory

  • Instructions on what to do next and when tickets will be delivered

Supports dynamic variables (First Name, Event Name) and formatting options: bold, italic, underline.

Button Text

Defines the label of the call-to-action button that directs the buyer to the personalisation page.

  • Example: "Personalise order", "Complete ticket details"

  • Button styling (colour, shape) is controlled in Template settings

Translation Controls

Each field includes a language indicator, translation status, and Translate option to manage multilingual versions of this email.

Important Notes

  • This email is only sent when ticket personalisation is set as mandatory for the ticket type

  • Tickets are delivered to the buyer only after all tickets in the order are personalised

  • Changes apply after clicking Save

What This Section Controls

Personalisation allows the user to:

  • Configure the sender name for the personalisation email

  • Define the subject line with dynamic variables

  • Write the instruction message guiding the buyer through personalisation

  • Set the call-to-action button text

  • Manage translations per language

It does NOT control:

  • Whether personalisation is required (configured per ticket type)

  • Ticket delivery logic or personalisation rules

  • Branding and layout (controlled in Template settings)

Functional Summary

Within Design → Email templates → Edit → Personalisation, the user can customise all communication sent to buyers who need to personalise their tickets after purchase. This ensures buyers receive clear instructions and a direct link to complete personalisation before their tickets are delivered.
