Before going live with your ticketshop, verify the following:
-
Event Settings
-
Is the start and end date correct?
-
Is the correct venue selected? (This will also appear on the ticket layout.)
-
Are the correct languages activated? (If you activate a language, make sure descriptions are added for each language.)
-
Payment Methods
-
Are the correct payment methods activated for your target audience?
-
Note: payment methods can still be adjusted after sales have started.
-
Consumer Details
-
Which data do you want to collect from ticket buyers? Only request data that is relevant, so the consumer understands why they need to fill it in.
-
Up to three extra input fields can be added (free text fields only).
-
Tickets
-
Are all translations set up for the title, subtitle, and description (if used)?
-
Is the price set up correctly?
-
Is the capacity set up correctly?
-
Does the ticket have the correct status?
-
Double-check the "ticket online from" date/time.
-
Check the advanced settings: validity period (when the ticket can be scanned), personalisation (does every ticket need to be personalised?), enable for guest list, and tags/external reference.
-
Ticket Layout
-
Is an image uploaded for the ticket type in the shop?
-
Is the correct ticket layout connected to the ticket type?
-
Consider disabling the event date on the layout if the ticket is not valid for the start date of the event (to avoid confusion).
-
Create and connect a mobile ticket template. Note: the mobile template is connected to the event, not a specific ticket type, so it applies to all tickets within that event.
-
Marketing Consent
-
If you plan to send campaigns to ticket buyers, make sure the marketing consent opt-in is enabled in the shop.
-
Service Fees
-
If upsell products (lockers, parking, etc.) have a different service fee, contact your Customer Success Manager to adjust this.
If you want a good and reliable check, please contact your CSM.
