CM.com offers virtual phone numbers (DDI) in 80+ countries, letting companies receive inbound calls on a local number without in-country hardware. Number types: Geographic, National, Toll-Free (NL & BE by default; others case-by-case) and Premium. Mobile numbers are not offered by default.
Customers without numbers create a number request; customers with existing numbers can port them to CM.com. Both require an approved company profile (please visit the Company profiles page in the Voice Management app). On success, numbers are assigned to the Voice Account and immediately usable. Porting timing depends on the current provider's contract.
If you wish to cancel a phone number subscription, please send a request to [email protected].
How do I request Dutch 3188, 31800 or 3190X numbers?
For the Dutch market requesting a +3188 (enterprise number block), +31800 (toll free) or +3190x (service) number is different from the standard DID purchasing process via the Voice Management App.
These numbers are so called company owned numbers and need to be purchased directly from the Dutch Telecom regulator (ACM). A certificate of ownership is received upon acceptance which is needed by CM to
activate the number.
Send the received certificate of ownership together with the number information to [email protected].
Standard lead-time for the activation of 0800/090x is 7 days (including weekends). In addition a emergency activation can be requested which has to be raised before 12:00 (NL local time) in order to be performed.
Standard lead-time for the activation of 088 numbers is 10 working days in order for all operators to update their routing.
