AI Components

The AI Components section in your project settings is where you connect a HALO profile to your Conversational AI Cloud project. This connection determines which HALO environment and configuration powers the AI capabilities for each language (culture) in your project.

HALO Profile

Every AI Cloud project requires a HALO profile to be attached. Without one, the project cannot function.

HALO profiles are configured per project–culture combination. Within a project, you can assign:

  • The same profile to multiple cultures — useful when you want a single HALO configuration to serve all languages in a project.

  • Different profiles to different cultures — useful when you have language-specific HALO setups.

Constraints

  • A HALO profile can only be attached to one AI Cloud project at a time. If you need to use a similar configuration for another project, create a separate profile in HALO.

  • Every project must have at least one HALO profile configured. This is enforced both at project creation and when saving changes to project settings.

Configuring the HALO profile

In Projects > Settings > AI Components, you'll see a row for each culture enabled on the project. For each culture, select the HALO profile you want to use. You can select the same profile for all cultures or choose different ones per culture.

Changes are enforced on save — if a required profile is missing for any active culture, the settings cannot be saved.

For an overview of available profiles in your HALO environment, see the Profiles page in the HALO documentation.
