Billing increments

Billing increments define how call duration is measured and billed. Two components: Minimum Commitment (minimum billable duration) and Subsequent Increment (the block billed thereafter).

Example: a 37-second call with 30 s Minimum Commitment and 6 s Subsequent Increment is billed as 42 s (30 + 6 + 6).

Billing increment

Behaviour

Example

1/1

Per second; pricing shown per minute. Most destinations.

35 s → 35 s

60/1

First 60 s = full minute, then per second.

30 s → 60 s

65 s → 65 s

60/60

First 60 s = full minute, then per full minute.

30 s → 60 s

70 s → 120 s

Only seconds are rounded up, not minutes (e.g. 30.1 s → 31 s). Each destination has retail price groups (e.g. “NETHERLANDS VODAFONE MOBILE”), each with a per-minute price and prefix list. Billing increments per destination are listed in our price lists per product in the Voice Management App under Purchase prices.
