FlowBuilder Outbound

The Flowbuilder application initiates an outbound call that runs a pre-built FlowBuilder flow when the call is answered by the callee. Reference an existing flow by its callflow-id and pass variables for personalised calls.

Visit the FlowBuilder Knowledge Center page for general information or visit developers.cm.com for more information on all the FlowBuilder building blocks,

Prompts for FlowBuilder can use Text-to-Speech (TTS). This can be plain text TTS or using SSML. Custom audio files are also supported. More information on the different types of prompts can be found at the Voice API prompts page. Mixing different types of prompts is possible. For instance, the main prompt can use TTS prompts, while the valid/invalid prompt can use custom audio files.

Webhook callbacks are available for FlowBuilder. For more information, visit the Voice API callbacks page.

FAQ

Is voicemail detection available for Voice Flowbuilder?

Yes, voicemail detection is available. Three settings are supported for Ignore, Restart or Stop. Ignore will not do anything upon detecting voicemail. Restart will restart the main prompt from the start upon detecting voicemail. Stop will hang up the call when voicemail has been detected, not leaving a voicemail message.
