Prompt AI model sends one prompt to an AI model and stores the answer. Use it to generate, summarize, classify, extract, or rewrite text. It does not talk to the customer; for that, use Ask user or Prompt agent.
Prompt
Describe what you want back: the task, any requirements or constraints, and the format of the answer. Insert parameters and variables with / so the prompt uses live values from the flow.
Turn on JSON mode when a later step needs structured data instead of text. Describe the exact structure you expect in the prompt itself, with field names.
Model
Pick the AI model for this step; the default is Claude Haiku 4.5. A larger model handles harder tasks, a smaller one is faster and cheaper. See AI Models in HALO for guidance; the model selector shows the current list.
Anonymize PII
When on, personal details in the model's answer are anonymized: phone numbers, email addresses, IBANs, credit card numbers, passwords, VAT numbers, Dutch BSNs, and Dutch passport numbers.
The answer is stored in the variable you pick under Select output variable.
