Run existing workflow runs another workflow as part of the current automation workflow. Use it to reuse a sequence of steps, such as looking up and checking a customer record.
Add the step

Open the step picker in your automation workflow.

Select Run existing workflow under Reuse.

Select the workflow you want to run.
The list contains workflows from the same workspace. Use Open workflow to inspect the selected workflow in a new tab.
For the shared input mapping and output settings, see Parameters in Run existing tool. In an automation workspace, those settings apply to the selected workflow.
What to expect
The calling workflow waits for the reused workflow to finish. Its result is then available to the calling workflow's next steps. You do not need a separate external trigger for this call.
Publish changes to the reused workflow to make them available to live runs.
