Profiles

In HALO, you can create and manage multiple profiles, each containing its own agents, tools, knowledge sources, and style settings. This is particularly useful if you manage multiple websites, brands, or countries — each requiring distinct knowledge, policies, or configurations.

Creating a profile

  1. Click the profile selector in the top-left corner of HALO Studio. This opens a searchable list of all profiles on your account.

  2. Click the + button.

  3. Enter a name for the new profile. Profile names must be unique within your account.

  4. Click Add.

Once created, you can link the profile to specific channels — such as websites or webstores — in Mobile Service Cloud.

Switching between profiles

Click the profile selector in the top-left corner and select the profile you want to work in. All agents, tools, knowledge, and settings displayed in HALO Studio will update to reflect the selected profile.

Renaming a profile

Go to Settings → Profile and update the Name field. Changes take effect after saving.

Deleting a profile

Go to Settings → Profile and click Delete profile. This permanently deletes the profile and all data associated with it — including agents, tools, knowledge, and settings.

Note: Deleted profiles cannot be recovered. Agents and tools deleted within a profile before the profile itself is deleted can be recovered via Settings → Deleted Items.
