Description
When navigating back to the main dashboard (Events overview), you will see a Create event button in the top-right corner of the screen.
This button allows you to create a new event within the platform.
Where You See It
On the Events overview page:
-
At the top of the screen
-
On the right-hand side
-
Clearly highlighted as a primary action button
This placement makes event creation quick and easily accessible.
What the Create Event Button Does
Clicking Create event starts the event creation workflow.
This allows you to:
-
Define a new event

Prepare the event for ticketing and scanning
An event is the foundational object in the platform. Other components such as:

are all linked to a specific event.
When to Use Create Event
You should create a new event when:

-
Setting up a new edition of a recurring event
-
Preparing an internal or demo event
-
Testing configurations in a controlled environment
Each event is managed separately and can have its own configuration.
What Happens After Creation
Once created, you can:
-
Add products
-
Configure venues
-
Set up entrance plans
-
Assign scan users
-
Monitor analytics
-
Manage tickets
The event becomes visible in the Events overview and can be edited later.
