Design – Order Confirmation (Email Template)

This section appears inside:

Design → Email templates → Edit → Order confirmation

It controls the content and behaviour of the order confirmation email sent to customers after a successful purchase.

This is the email customers receive to confirm that their order has been completed.


What This Section Means

The Order confirmation tab allows you to customise:

  • Sender information

  • Email subject

  • Message content

  • Button text

It defines the communication the customer sees after checkout.

Branding (colours, images) is controlled in Template settings.
This section controls the actual email content.


What You See in This Section

  1. Sender Name

Field: Sender name

Purpose:

  • Defines the name shown in the customer’s inbox.

  • This is the “From” name displayed in their email client.

Example:

  • Company name

  • Event name

  • Ticketing brand

This improves recognition and trust.


  1. Subject

Field: Subject

Purpose:

  • Defines the subject line of the order confirmation email.

  • Appears in the recipient’s inbox.

You can:

  • Use dynamic variables (e.g., Order ID, Event Name).

  • Combine static text with placeholders.

Example structure:

  • Order ID + Event Name

  • Confirmation message + event reference

Dynamic tags automatically populate with order-specific data.


  1. Message Text

Field: Message text

Purpose:

  • Defines the main body text of the order confirmation email.

You can:

  • Edit greeting text.

  • Add explanatory content.

  • Insert dynamic variables such as:

    • First name

    • Event name

    • Order details

Formatting options include:

  • Bold

  • Italic

  • Underline

  • Structured text editing

This section controls what the customer reads before the ticket button.


  1. Button Text

Field: Button text

Purpose:

  • Defines the label of the main call-to-action button.

  • This button typically directs customers to:

    • View tickets

    • Download tickets

    • Access order details

Example:

  • “Ticket(s)”

  • “View your tickets”

  • “Download now”

The button colour and style are controlled in Template settings.


Translation Controls

For each editable section, you may see:

  • Language indicator (e.g., flag icon)

  • Translation status

  • Translate option

This allows:

  • Managing multilingual email versions.

  • Ensuring all language variants are completed.

The system may indicate whether content is fully translated.


Preview Area (Left Side)

On the left, you see a live preview:

  • Displays how the email looks on a device.

  • Reflects branding from Template settings.

  • Updates as content changes.

Below the preview:

  • Mobile / Desktop toggle

    • Preview only

    • No functional difference in configuration


Important Behaviour

  • This email is triggered automatically after successful purchase.

  • It confirms order completion.

  • Dynamic fields are populated per order.

  • Branding is inherited from Template settings.

  • Changes apply after clicking Save.


What This Section Controls

Order confirmation controls:

  • Inbox sender name

  • Email subject line

  • Main confirmation message

  • CTA button label

It influences:

  • Customer communication clarity

  • Brand perception

  • Post-purchase experience

It does NOT control:

  • Ticket logic

  • Pricing

  • Delivery method

  • Payment processing

This section defines the final communication customers receive after completing an order.
